To the left is my chef friend, Etienne, and his special order board. It's made with Maple, Walnut, Cherry, Purple Heart and Jatoba. It's big (15" X 22.5") and heavy! Fit for a food professional. He ordered it as a wedding gift and had the back edge inscribed with the couple's names and the wedding date. He loved it except for one detail -- the inscription. He said, "If it weren't for that inscription, I'd keep it myself!".

Also, to the right is a beautiful example of a special order board using bloodwood.
